This past Saturday Erin and I had a blast with Megan and Tim! We both have been DYING to photograph at the Kings Powder factory for years. We got our chance with Megan and Tim! We had a ball using this old abandoned factory with rich textures for our backdrop. Megan and Tim were up for anything! Thank you both for being so much fun and indulging us. Last Friday I had a great time meeting up with Alayna and Rocky! Rocky was a trooper. Rocky just came home from serving our country in Korea. He was fresh off a 20 hour plane ride! It was a little on the chilly side, so warmed up at the Westin and The Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotels. It was great to incorporate all of the holiday decorations into thier engagement session. Congratulations to the Loveland PTSA photography winners!

I was honored to be asked to judge Loveland's PTSA reflections student photography contest. I have to say how impressed I was looking at all of the entries! We held a studio tour this past Wednesday for all of the lucky winners. After the studio tour I talked with the kids and parents about my career in photography, answered questions and showed the Kids some great photoshop tips. Thank you to all of the participants! I hope you had as much fun as I did!

The long awaited arrival of Seth Cory Robbins

This past Tuesday our Beloved Leah and her Husband Matthew welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Seth Cory Robbins into the world. Seth arrived Tuesday the 9th of December at 7:38am weighing 7lbs 8Oz. I have to say how fortunate I felt to witness Baby Seth's arrival into this world. WOW! What an amazing experience. Myself being 8 months pregnant, not only did I get to see what I was in for, I got to experience the miracle of life entering this world. Throughout the years I have been so fortunate to photograph some incredible events, this was way up there! Here are a few of my many favorites. Leah and Matthew, Thank you for having me be part of this joyous occasion. Congratulations on your beautiful little Man!

Last week I had a great time with Kara and Derrick on our trip to Bloomington, Indiana! Kara and Derrick wanted to to their engagement photos at where it all began, Indiana University at Bloomington. I had never been to IU before, and I have to tell you , I fell in love with the campus! We had a great time walking around the beautiful campus. Nursery :)

Yesterday, while I was working hard "making the pictures", my husband was hard at work on the nursery! I must confess I am a terrible painter. I have been banned from painting at our house. Somehow whenever I paint it looks like a two year painted it! My wonderful husband is the painter of the family. I know if I had attempted to measure and paint the squares on the wall it would be a much different and embarrassing outcome! I had such a nice surprise coming home to the nursery painted. I thought I would share how great the room looks for our little girl. We decided on pink and green (my Delta Zeta sorority sisters out there, don't laugh at me!) Polka dots, stripes and checks. Enjoy!
